Endless Birthday Wishes ~ May Photopolymer Stamp Set

I love the font on the new photopolymer stamp set for May.  Endless Birthday Wishes is so cute it might be one of those that sells out quickly.  Even the polka dot background included in the set will give it that extra subtle pop.  Click on the link below to view more details.

Hello, can you hear me?

Remember back in the day, actually yesterday, when you’re on your cell phone and the connection goes bad and you find yourself saying, “Hello, can you hear me?”  Well today I’m sharing a smart phone card that the recipient surely won’t have a problem communicating.  Needless to say if you’ve been following me for awhile, I’m in love with MFT (My Favorite Things) products.  My newbie for this month is the Smart Phone Die-namics using pictures.  A list of supplies will be at the end of this post.

March 1 pic

This card is a standard A2 (4-1/4″ x 5-1/2″).   The background is clear embossed with MFT’s Jumbo Abstract Art stamp set. The photo is covered with a transparency to look more realistic.  It doesn’t photograph well, but looks cool in person.

March 2 pic

This one was used as a card by itself.  I used the SU silver glimmer paper for the front of the phone. The chat bubbles are included with the Smart Phone die-namics set.

March 3 pic

This is the inside of the card using the fun Friend Request stamp set that matches the die.

March 4 pic

This is the new “say it your way personalized stamp” by  Stampin’ Up. Click here to see previous post for details.  You can create these with birthday wishes, your address, advertise your business, etc. the possibilities are endless.

Smile it’s the February Scrapbook Class

This month we did a generic layout that can be used for most anything.  Since I love photography it’s no wonder I fell in love with the MFT camera dies and stamps.  There are a lot of MFT products used that will be listed at the end of this post.  Click on the pics to see up-close details.

1 - Scrapbook 12x12 layouts

A double page layout using the mirror effect

1 - Scrapbook left page

The outside borders are MFT’s Mini Film Strip

1 - Scrapbook left page close up

I think I’m showing my age, but how many of you remember these polaroid cameras? I love the pic coming out of the camera and the sweet little heart on the lens cap.  Vellum paper was used for the ring around the heart.

1 - Scrapbook center spine

I used MFT’s Striped Background stamp to keep the two pages cohesive. The background stamp is SU Sanded Background stamp (retired).  “Say What” is MFT’s Chat Bubbles and Say What Die and Say What Sentiments stamp set.  To get the stripes to line up perfectly, I measured 2-1/2″ down and 2-1/2″ across from the corner.

1 - Scrapbook right page

On the bottom film strip, I wrote the names at an angle.  It left a good spot for some journaling.  However, I didn’t want to include it in the pic. (smile)

1 - Scrapbook right page close up

Love this large MFT Behind the Camera die.  A 1″ circle punch was used for the pic in the center of the lens.

1 - Scrapbook right page close up 2

Close up of the Cute Camera Dies.  Silver glimmer paper was added to the back to show the lens and flash.

Supplies Stamps:  MFT Say What Sentiment, Striped Backgrounds, Behind the Camera Sentiments, and SU Sanded Background Stamp

Card Stock:  SU Daffodil Delight, Real Red, Basic Black, Whisper White, Basic Gray, Silver Glimmer and Vellum Paper.  MFT Sour Apple and PTI Harvest Gold pattern paper (on large camera)

Ink:  MFT Black Licorice and SU Daffodil Delight

Accessories:  MFT Dies Cute Camera Dies, Cute Camera Dies 2, Precious Polaroids, Insert It InstaFrame, Mini Film Strip and Chat Bubbles & Say What? dies, and SU Bigz Alphabet Typeset and Tasteful Trim Sizzix dies.

Thanks for stopping by.

A Valentine Kiss

Who would have ever thought you love stamping so much that you would “KISS” your stamp.  For Valentine’s Day I’m bringing back an old technique presented by Stampin’ Up’s Emily Montoya.

I hope everyone gets to enjoy this sweet day with that special someone in your life.  If not, chocolate is a great substitute.  Happy Valentine’s!
