Clean and Simple Creations

January Scrapbook Class

on January 13, 2014

This month I created clean and simple holiday pages.  The simplicity of my pages allow the girls to add more embellishments and bling.

Christmas 1

Christmas 3

Christmas 2

Highlights:  The Christmas tree was a die from Memory Box.  After it was cut out, I kept the stencil on it and added some light molding paste.  After that I carefully removed the stencil and sprinkled Dazzling Diamonds on it for the snowy, glittery affect on the tree.

Check out the great textured background behind the tree using the SU Stylish Stripes embossing folder.  I’m a big fan of My Favorite Things (MFT) products. The dies used are the Icicle Border, Winter Wreath, Banner Fishtails and December Memories.

I didn’t have time to post the December scrapbook class so I’m adding it to this post.

Thanksgiving 1

Thanksgiving 4

Thanksgiving 3

Stamps/Dies: MFT Autumn Wreath die and Thankful Leaves and matching dies

SU Ink: Early Espresso

Paper:  SU Cajun craze, Early Espresso, Crushed Curry, Old Olive

  1. Very, very nice! I’m glad that you have time to do this! Someday I will again.

Thanks so much for your comment. The time to scrap came from a challenge I made to myself last year. I started the scrapbooking class so it forced me to make scrapbook pages. I really missed scrapping since starting the card classes. This was the only way I knew it would get done.

This last class, the girls reviewed all the pages we did this past year and loved it and so did I. However, they want to continue it this year too. I really am looking forward to scrapping in 2014.
