Well Worn Scrapbook Album

on March 15, 2012

This sweet little keepsake was made for my hubby to remind him how much he’s loved when he’s traveling. It’s housed in a metal tin (retired SU accessory) that measures approximately 4-3/4″ x 5-1/2″. It was heat embossed using Versamark and clear embossing powder that gives it a faux engraved look.

Even without the tin cover, this little album is easy to put together. The inside pages are 4″ x 4-3/4″. Simply cut two pieces of 12″ x 12” early espresso cardstock and score each at 4” and 8.” Then adhere the two ends together to make mountain and valley folds.

The last page gets adhered to the inside of the tin with sticky strip. (Note: Do not adhere until all your pages are completed)

I love the grunge look of the Well Worn designer paper. For a little more depth, I sponged soft suede ink on all the edges. To add to the masculine look of the paper, the cutter kit was used to distress around the matting of the pics. Like most scrapbooks, there are a plethora of stamps, punches and accessories used. Please leave a comment if you would like more details.

Thanks for looking!
