It’s been almost three years since I’ve done any scrapbooking. Since then I was introduced to Project Life, the fast and easy way to scrapbook. Although I’m more of a traditionalist when it comes to scrapbooking, mostly because my stash of scrapbooking tools, dies, stamps, you name it needs to be used and I think it allows for more creativity too.
Project Life does make it easier to create memories in a simplified format to scrap those special events in your life and getting it into an album instead of sitting in your computer. My kids still like going through their scrapbooks, especially when they’re home for Christmas. The beauty of Project Life is since the album itself is in binder form, you can keep adding pages or move them throughout the album without having to deal with those annoying post albums. So I’m sharing this hybrid album I made as a Christmas gift this year. As a result, I’ll be continuing to send pages of picture updates throughout the year to the same recipient. By the way, I was told, “it was the best gift ever.” Who wouldn’t love a “handmade” gift?
